Sometimes it's purely the fabric that inspires!

I don't always sticked to my thrifted guns! Sometimes, I've got to shell out the money when I see a fabric that completely inspires me. Joann's was having their final clearance so I didn't pay full price though ha!

Being the clear-out of Joann's there actually wasn't a whole lot left but I took all there was to ensure I could get 2 tops out of this print, wanting to make it a pair of fairies. I went to work cutting the fabric. I had, had this lavender chiffon left over from a previous project. It was enough for one fabulously flowy skirt. I had dyed a second skirt to match but it didn't come out the way I had hoped it would. I did change the skirt that's pictured below on the first dress.


I scheduled with some lovely models and using by back yard as well as the local creek, we created this lovely spring fairy look(s).
