Would you believe me if I told you the total cost to make this dress was just over

$6.00?

Happened upon a couple rolls of tulle in various shades of purples, in total there was 500 yds for just $4.00 and I knew I had to make something with it. A small cutting of purple velvet fabric was purchased from the clearance rack at a local craft store for a top, at a cost of $2.35. I had some odd pieces of trims and jewelry findings laying around from previous projects that would be the perfect complement to this large dress. That's it, that's all there was, and I couldn't have been happier with the results.

It's incredible size and vibrant hue remains one of my favoritest (I make up words!) creations to date. And bonus, I was able to use it more than once so that $6.00 was well spent!
